  1. Strong work as usual. I’m particularly into the mason jar lunch. If you discover any foods that are particularly good in mason jars, please share!

Mason jar tip: If you buy berries, put them into a mason jar BEFORE washing them. Then, wash them when you are ready to use them. Keeps them fresh for a while.

My kids are also into thermos lunches. Mejadera is a favorite and it combines well with other dishes and/or another bean, as is pasta and sauce.

    1. Hi JJ,
I’m so glad you’re enjoying my blog posts!
The mason jar lunches have been a huge hit here. They’re fun to put together, healthy, and take a bit of figuring out to make sure items don’t get soggy. I love your tip on washing berries when ready to use. Great tip as they can get mushy.
My daughter also loves hot lunches and wants them a couple of times a week. Shes also likes mejadera — I will remember to make it for her and add different toppings. Thank you for the suggestions!
      Mary
